Collections & Tags

Collections group your vocabulary by language, topic, or level. Every word lives in exactly one collection, and you can create as many collections as you want.

1

Open Collections. Click "Collections" in the top navigation to see every collection in your active learning language, with word counts and mastery percentage for each.

2

Create a new collection. Click "New Collection", give it a name, and it's ready to receive words — either added directly or imported.

3

Or clone a starter collection. Click "From Starters" to copy a ready-made, leveled vocabulary set into your account instead of building one from scratch — the same option offered during onboarding.

4

Add words to a collection. Open a collection and add words directly from there, or pick the target collection from the breadcrumb selector when adding a word from anywhere else — see Adding & Editing Words.

5

Tag words for filtering. The Tags page lets you apply custom labels to words, independent of which collection they're in — useful for cutting across collections (e.g. tagging words by grammar topic or difficulty).

💡

Already have vocabulary somewhere else? Skip manual entry entirely and use the import wizard to bring in an Anki, Quizlet, ReWord, or CSV file straight into a new or existing collection.
